Who am I?
Hello!
Thanks for taking the time to look at our page today. I'm Michelle and I'm the Waggle Bums founder, dog walker and trainer.
I have been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up in the country in a home where there were always animals of varying kinds, I was keen to get involved with animal care wherever I could. I became interested in dog training when I was very young and at the age of 6, I taught the family dog to 'sit' and 'stay', and with that small act a spark was ignited that has only grown over time.
Today I am turning a hobby into a career and I have begun my own training journey with The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT). The IMDT offers an accredited qualification with the OCN and I am working towards this. As their website says;
I am currently able to offer basic training needs, as outlined on our 'What We Do' page. These training services will expand as I attend more courses with the IMDT. It is important to me that I offer the best possible service for owner and dog alike, with their best interests at heart. With this in mind I will not offer a training service until I am confident I have the necessary knowledge and skills to do so. If you are unsure if I can help, please do get in touch via our 'Contact Us' page and I will be more than happy to chat and answer any questions you may have.
In the meantime, please continue to browse the site and why not book your pooch onto a solo or group walk? I am passionate about great animal care and making sure your dog feels loved, safe and happy when they are in my care. This is why group walks are limited to a maximum of 6 dogs with two handlers so that each dog gets the attention they need and deserve.
Lets keep our dogs bums wagging!
